Short description

Pacific Ironwake is a top-down arcade naval air action game. In 1986, in the imaginary Meridian archipelago, a rogue faction is blocking humanitarian aid: at the controls of Vigie Squadron, break the blockade across sixteen missions, solo or with a friend on the same PC.

Long description

Pacific Ironwake is a top-down arcade naval air action game for Windows. The story is fictional: in 1986, in the imaginary Meridian archipelago, the Meridian Pact, a breakaway military faction, blocks a humanitarian corridor and jams communications.

At the controls of Vigie Squadron, the player escorts civilian ships, knocks out radars, covers evacuations and fights through defended straits. The campaign has sixteen missions in three acts (Incident, Blockade, Rupture), with bosses that come apart in several parts.

The game is played solo from start to finish; a second pilot can join on the same PC with a gamepad. It plays with keyboard or gamepad, in English or French, on standard and wide screens. Music and sound effects are original. The full game sells for US$5 on itch.io, where a free demo (missions 1 to 4) is also available.
